Who am I?
Hello, my name is Ryan Monahan. I am an English language teacher. I live in America now, but I lived in Japan for five years and I plan to live there again someday.
When I lived in Japan, I taught English at a junior high school and elementary school in Ehime prefecture. It was a wonderful job! The students and teachers were so kind. I will never forget them.
I will also never forget Ehime. I lived in Imabari city, which is famous for the Shimanami Kaido. I went cycling there many, many times. Ehime was a very easy place to live, and I want to live in Japan again someday.
Why do I want to teach you?
I want to teach you because I love teaching English and I love Japan. When I lived in Japan, I traveled to many places there, such as Yakushima, Nagasaki, Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Mt. Fuji, Tokyo, Hokkaido, and some more. This picture is in Yakushima. I love Japan’s nature, and I love the big cities. I want to learn about your hometown, too! I want to live in Japan again someday, but for now I want to connect with Japanese people and teach English.
What is my teaching experience?
I taught elementary school students and junior high school students for five years.
Whoever you are, I can teach you English! Here are some of what I can teach you:
My qualifications
JLPT Level 3
TESOL Certification (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
University Major: English Literature and Education
I hope to see you in a lesson soon!
