普段何気なく話している自分の発音ですが、なんといい加減に発音していたのかと大いに反省させられるレッスンです。これまでも他のレッスンで、動詞過去形の-dが強すぎるとか言われたことがありましたが、その単語だけでなく、全体に体系的に学ぶことができ、理解が深まりました。いつもしっかりと英語上達を導いてくださるので、頼りになります。

祝日の朝、気持ちも時間もゆったりと集中してレッスンに臨めました。2回目のレッスンも、苦手な発音を引き続き教わりましたが、今までの自分の発音がどんなにいい加減だったかよくわかりました。二つの発音の違いについて、大変わかりやすく実践的に教えてくださいますが、ゲーム感覚での振り返りを交えてくれるので、とても楽しく、あっという間に時間が過ぎます。本当にプロフェッショナルな講師です。

It may be because I could not get my message across in the first class. Jocelyn didn't know what I wanted to do in this class initially. But, after a few seconds, she was able to retrieve some well prepared teaching materials and started up the lesson. She is really a professional teacher. The content of the materials is definitely what I wanted to learn. ( I have ever taken similar classes with other online teachers. To my disappointment, the materials were not at my level. And, it seemed that the teachers didn't have comprehensive variation of the materials for different levels......)Even though I can teach myself by reading books, taking classes with teachers one-on-one can make my learning lively, interactive and effective , as well as efficient. Definitely, Jocelyn's classes can serve these purposes well. I can practise what I learnt immediately after learning the new knowledge and I can ensure if I really understand what I learnt immediately in the class. ( I always misunderstood that I understood what I learnt through teaching myself by reading books. It all come down to the availability of a qualified one to correct my concepts immediately after I learnt them. Taking Jocelyn's classes can prevent me from making this mistake again.) Last but not the least, Jocelyn always give positive reinforcement that can boost my confidence even after making mistakes. Therefore, after taking this class, I confirm that I have found a suitable teacher. I think I can reach my goal soon by taking Jocelyn's classes.

I took this course to brush up my language skill and could be more talkative in the future. I practiced some of the words which are difficult to pronounce.

It was my first time to take Jocelyn's lesson. I understand how to use my tongue when I pronounce "th" sound. I was satisfied.
