Hello everyone, my name is Alicia.
 
When I was in high school, I participated in an exchange program with a Japanese high-school and fell in love with Japanese culture. After graduating college, I worked for a short time in Taiwan and then applied for a working-holiday program in Japan. In Japan, I attended a Japanese language school and subsequently attended confectionery school in Yokohama. After graduating from confectionery school I started working in Japan, and as part of my work I taught basic Japanese to Taiwanese students. I also participated in language and cultural exchange with Japanese and other foreigners. I became very interested in the different cultures and the countries of the people I interacted with. This made me want to start travelling, and it's for this reason that I fell in love with travelling.
 
I like to travel, and therefore I have studied other languages such as Spanish and English. I discovered that when it comes to learning a language, it is often hard to find a good study method. Therefore I hope that through teaching, I can help students can find a study method that is suitable for them. I also want to help more people study Chinese, understand Chinese culture, and discover the joy of language learning. In order to become a better teacher, I have been continuously learning new teaching methods, and I hope that everyone can enjoy the joy of learning.
