Hi my name is Sean. I have been a guitar instructor for 7 years now. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2014 with my Masters Certification. I teach adults and children. My primary focus is on Rock and Jazz guitar. I also teach acoustic guitar. I speak some Japanese. I have been learning for the past 14 years and my wife is native Japanese.

 My lessons focus is on guitar technique and song form. I teach guitar scales, chords, and arpeggios. I also teach articulation and ornamentation. These two skills are often overlooked and without them most musicans sound like a machine.

I also offer lessons in music theory for guitar, maintaining your equipment and arranging drums with EZ Drummer.

I try to help my students learn to hear the music and really listen to how they are playing. I want to help anybody interested in music to be able to express themselves on their instrument.

I teach adults and teenagers 12 and up. If your child is younger and they have some previous skill with the guitar and you are interested please contact me.
