About me-
Greetings! My name is Mario, and I am an English teacher from Jamaica, living and working in Japan. I have gained a wealth of experience teaching children and adults in Jamaica and in Japan, through which I have had the opportunity to meet and share cultural experiences with some wonderful people. 

My interests-
Drawing (still life drawing and portraits), Cooking, Traveling, Photography, Learning Languages

As a professional-
As a teacher I like to consider myself as a motivator, someone whose responsibility is to inspire those I have the pleasure of teaching, and to encourage my students to share in this wonderful process of language acquisition. I have worked with Japanese students at the elementary school level, and in small English conversation groups. I have five years experience teaching high school children in Japan, while coaching students to take part in speech competitions, and tutoring students for university entrance exams, and Eiken English tests. I have also had experience working with adults in Jamaica and in Japan, ranging from beginner to advanced learners.
