Hello!
My name is Barbara and I was born in the US and raised in México. I have experience teaching English and would love to teach Spanish too. I grew up in the US and in Mexico, so I´m proficient in both languages. I have always loved languages, they create all kinds of wonderful opportunities. Whether it is for work, traveling or simply meeting new people, languages are always helpful!
I've taught one on one and groups of people, each person in a different level of English. It has been a very rewarding experience. I really like to make my lessons more practical, focusing more on conversation and writing. Making mistakes during class is the best place for them because we learn from our mistakes, so don´t be afraid to practice and to ask as many questions as you want! If there is a specific concept you need help with or if you need help with homework, I can help you with it too.
I'm also currently learning Japanese at a begginer's level, it has been very exciting and tough. So, I can understand a student's point of view when it comes to learning a new language.
I have two sons, who are also learning English. That alone garrantees that I'm a very patient person!
I am also a veterinarian. I love animals and helping them be healthier. I have a dog and a cat who are a lot of fun to live with!
On my spare time I love watching movies with my sons, exercising, listening to music and reading.
