Hello, my name is Sarah. I come from a small island in the north of Scotland called Shetland. Now, I am living in Germany and studying German language.

Before moving to Germany I lived in Tsukuba, Japan for two years. There I worked as an English teacher in a kindergarten and I also taught English to adults and high school students.

Some of my hobbies include: painting, hiking and travelling. My favourite thing to do while travelling is trying new foods and meeting local people. What are your hobbies? I would love to talk to you about them.

My teaching style is very flexible. I encourage students to speak as much as possible and build confidence through conversation.
I always want to keep the lessons as fun and light-hearted as possible.
Of course all of my lessons can be adjusted to suit each individual student.
