Welcome! My name is Amy.

Here are a few words to help you get to know me...

First, I come from a large family. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. Plus, we have many fur babies (pets)!

I love swimming! I first learned to swim when I was about 4 years old. I especially love to swim in the ocean.

I love pets of all kinds, especially puppies!

I love to travel, study different cultures and learn new languages. 

I’ve been a teacher now for 20 years to students of all ages and from different backgrounds. I find it inspiring to see my students succeed in English because it often means they are closer to reaching their next goal, such as opening their own business or traveling abroad.

I’m happy to help you develop your English for academic purposes, your work, or simply because you enjoy learning. I can help you improve your pronunciation, expand your vocabulary, or understand grammar and how to use it.

My students tell me that I’m kind, patient, and fun! I definitely love to create and look for new games and activities that can help my students understand in an enjoyable way.
