I was born in Hong Kong, but moved to Los Angeles, California when I was 7 years old. Growing up, I had a strong interest in Japanese culture. My family hosted many Japanese college students in our home. 

In college, I spent a semester studying abroad in Japan at Kansai Gaigokugo Daigaku in Hirakata-shi, Osaka. After finishing college, I spent another year and a half studying Japanese at the Human Academy, also in Osaka. During that time, I was an English conversation tutor at an eikawa in Takarazuka, and after coming back to America I also spent some time as an English tutor at one of my local colleges. 

I like to help students learn and improve their English through comfortable and natural conversations about our cultures and passions. I'm fun and happy and like to make learning the same. We can talk just like friends while helping you improve your language skills!
