Hello! Thanks for visiting my Cafetalk page! My name is Kai, and I’m a YouTuber and podcast host living in the city of Philadelphia. I love talking to people, and through Cafetalk I want to be of service to those who want to get better at English!
I graduated from the University of Michigan and Northwestern University with my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, respectively. Through “Skip the Repeat”, I interview Japanese and American artists and creatives about their lives.
I was born in Osaka and raised in Kobe, and I look forward to going back to Japan every summer. I speak the Kansai dialect with my family, so don’t hesitate to ask me questions in that dialect if you’re more comfortable with it!
I work at a third wave coffee shop and spend a lot of time thinking about latte art, hand drip, and how to brew delicious coffee. I also love cats and happily live with my kitten Mo.
