Hello and welcome to my profile page =)
My name is Aude and I am French. I currently live in France, but I am moving to Ireland in August 2017, and will be working at Trinity College Dublin for a year.
I have much experience teaching, in both the UK and in France. I was a foreign language assistant in Liverpool and London in 2011-12 and 2014-15, and will work in the French Department at Trinity College. I have also been a private tutor for years and currently have students whom I began teaching to in 2015.
I am a student of English, with an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree from La Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, France. I am taking a gap year in Dublin to work on my PHD project in English Poetry.
I am a nice and friendly teacher. I have found that incorporating what my students are interested in my lessons helps a lot. So we will talk about what is of interest to you, in order to make your learning as fun and engaging as possible. I will sometimes include videos and recordings as well, because I believe it is essential when learning a language.
I also offer courses on french cooking, if you are interested in French food =)
I have worked as an au pair, as a language assistant and as a waitress in a busy coffee shop, and my hobbies are varied, from film to music to museums, arts such as writing, drawing and painting... One of my main hobbies is cooking though, and baking, something I enjoy immensely!
