Hello! My name is Rose (ローズ).
I'm originally from New York City, but now I live in Kyoto. 

Teaching English in Japan:
For a year and a half, I taught English at a popular Eikaiwa School in Kochi City (高知市). I taught both adults and children. I really enjoyed living and teaching in the countryside of Japan! 

My interests and hobbies:

I love hiking, photography, videography, visiting temples and shrines, going to museums, watching studio ghibli films, reading, drinking Japanese tea, relaxing in onsen,

and studying the Japanese language!

Japan has beautiful nature, so I've been able to take a lot of good pictures and videos here. 

My Cafetalk lessons:
  • I love teaching! My lessons are professional and fun. I aim to create a comfortable environment where you can speak in English without worrying about making mistakes. 
  • My goal is to help you acheive your English goals. I’m so happy when my students feel they have improved!
  • I provide a lot of topics, so you don't have to worry about coming up with ideas to talk about.
  • My lessons focus on speaking naturally. After our lesson, you will recieve notes on how to say things like a native.
