Nice to meet you, I'm Kazuyo! I am currently living in the Kingdom of Thailand.
Many decades ago, in October of the 6th grade, I started attending an English conversation school that popped up in my neighborhood. It was then that my long and arduous journey with English and language study began. I have an EIKEN Grade 1 certification. I teach children's English, EIKEN strategy classes, and even English for college entrance exams. I would like to use my experience to carefully guide you, keeping your distinct goals in mind, but with a wide vision. I have experience teaching English at a public elementary school, as well as experience teaching Japanese.
I think that if you can communicate in English (this is including email and Facebook), you can contact people all over the world. Don't you think it would be wonderful if you could break through barriers and use English to describe your world and your way of living? You could do it through reading, email, Skype, study abroad, work, etc. I think that being able to study language is one going to be one of the most important skills you need to live.
Right now, I am living in Thailand. I have one son who is currently attending international school. We are surrounded by people of all different cultures and backgrounds and use English as a common language. On our days off, with our sensitivity on high, we go exploring the jungle or the beach.
My hobbies include badminton and watching western movies!
During the hot season in this country, even walking outside for 5 minutes gets way too hot, but even so, I play indoor badminton with my friends several times a week.
I have loved western movies ever since I was in elementary school. I like what are called "B list movies" as well as documentary shows! If I'm taking a break from studying, I often enjoy watching them with subtitles too.
