Hi, I'm Senka! I'm from Shanghai and I grew up in Yokohama. 3 years ago I moved to Miyazaki in Southern Japan. 

I lived in Shanghai until I was 15 and I learned Chinese (Mandarin) at an elementary school in the city of Shanghai.

After I came to Japan, I started attending a Chinese school run by Taiwanese in Yokohama. I studied traditional Chinese characters every day, and after I graduated high school, I entered the department of English Literature at Nihon University's College of Humanities and Science. As I studied English, I worked as a Chinese tutor on the side.

Even after getting a job at a company, I have continued to teach individual lessons to a large range of students from elementary schoolers to people in their 50's. I began with Japanese students, but I have also taught people from Singapore and Australia. I have been teaching Chinese to people of all sorts of ages and nationalities. 

Everyone has their own different goals when in comes to learning language, so I would like to create satisfying and fun lessons that match your pace and needs.
