Hello. My name is Eamonn. I am an English teacher from Ireland. I have a BA in English and History from the University of Dublin, Trinity College and a Graduate Certificate in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Enterprise from the National University of Ireland. I have two certificates in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

I have worked for more than twenty years as an English teacher. I have taught both teenagers and adults, and have specialised in Business English. I have prepared people for English certification examinations, including the TOEIC and various Cambridge examinations; and I have also worked as a Director of Studies - with  responsibility for overall course design.

I employ the Communicative approach to language teaching; but I strongly believe that a teacher should be able to correct pronunciation errors in an unobtrusive way, and deal with any grammar topics that may arise in a concise and lucid manner - without unduly interfering with the overall communicative flow.
