We will tackle the tenses in a logical and practical manner and use the following steps.
- Understand the meaning behind a specific tense/set of tenses
- Practice the structure used for regular and irregular verbs in this tense/set of tenses
- Use speaking and reading exercises to boost your confidence and fluency in using English verbs in different tenses

What is the difference between present and future tenses in English?
How do we use the words 'will' and 'shall'?
Read a paragraph of text about a future event and practice using the different forms in a discussion time.

What is the future perfect tense in English?

I emphasize spoken and written English, with lots of interaction.
I will frequently ask you to answer questions, explain meaning and give examples so that you become more comfortable with engaging in English.
What skills should I already have?
It doesn't matter! If you are struggling with a specific tense or verb form, you can let me know and we will focus the lesson on helping you build understanding and skills around that area.
