The method of Yuka Sensei is repetition and pattern drilling thru example sentences in order for the student to remember the lesson point. One day after, without looking at any notes, I can still remember the 1st 3 of the 4 patterns we discussed: kara to iu mono, tomokaku, okagede. Which sounds good for a forgetful person like me. Yuka Sensei was able to answer all my questions satisfyingly in Nihongo. Her speaking pace is easy to understand perhaps due to her daily work of actual teaching offline. She also sent homework drills after the lesson and requested to send back the accomplished homework for checking, and encouraged me to ask questions even after the lesson which is great follow-up. In order to make the most of the lesson, I recommend the student request specific material beforehand, to focus on the difficult parts. close
