Effective Email Writing for Business Communication
Description
Have you ever wondered what's the appropriate way to communicate via email in English? This class will cover the importance of writing clear, concise emails in the business world. I'll introduce you to email vocabulary such as
"subject line," "salutation," "body," "closing," and "signature." I'll give you examples of common phrases and expressions used in business emails, such as "I hope this email finds you well" or "Thank you for your prompt response."
We'll then practice analyzing and improving sample emails.
- I will provide you with a few sample business emails and ask you to analyze and identify any issues or areas for improvement. We can practice writing specific emails for business situations like:
- a request for information
- a complaint
- a job application
I will help you focus on using appropriate greetings, clear and concise language, and polite closing remarks.
