Since the class involves listening to the news first …  more This class has really improved my listening skills to the point where TOPIK 듣기 audio feels slow! Since the class involves listening to the news first before eventually watching it, I've learned to grasp information despite the news anchor's talking speed and choice of difficult words. 마이쭈 선생님 lets me listen to the news multiple times until I understand what's being said. 마이쭈 선생님 then asks me questions that I answer in my own words to determine my understanding of the news. I then have to summarize the news, which is not easy but proves to improve my ability to convey information in Korean. 마이쭈 선생님 is kind and patient so even though it's a challenging class for me, I can take it without worrying about the mistakes I for sure will make during class. close

It was a challenging class because there were many unfamiliar words but 마이쭈 선생님…  more The amount of vocabulary I learned today was just… amazing!!!!! It was a challenging class because there were many unfamiliar words but 마이쭈 선생님 taught it in a fun way so I had fun! Even though it took me 5 tries to find the correct answer to this one question he had asked, he patiently replayed the news until I got it and I really appreciated that he trusted me to find the answer myself instead of giving it to me the moment I said I didn’t know because I couldn’t catch what the news reporter was saying. It gave me a sense of accomplishment that I had been wanting to feel ^^ close

  It was a fantastic class! I had never taken a news class before but I felt like it was necessary to advance to the next level in my Korean language-le…  more It was a fantastic class! I had never taken a news class before but I felt like it was necessary to advance to the next level in my Korean language-learning journey, and I could certainly feel my skills increasing after this class. The class had a great balance of both input and output. I got to listen to and watch the news without subtitles, and then practice explaining/summarizing the news in my own words. I was nervous prior to taking the class because I knew the news anchor would speak fast and use difficult words, but 마이쭈 선생님 was very encouraging and kind with his explanations, guiding questions and corrections, so he helped me gain confidence and courage. I will take this class again! close

  新しいニュースを題材にしてくださり、とても充実した授業でした。初めてなのでレベルを見極めながら進め、知らない表現もたくさん学びました。なによりもっと勉強したいという意欲がわきました。ありがとうございました。
