レッスンの詳細
We will choose the topics before the class begins. In fact, we can work together to decide suitable topics for discussion. I will allow you to choose a role; either supporting or rejecting the motion (question or statement) of our lesson.
Before the class, you will need to organize your ideas. You should try to create logical arguments that support your stance.
Here are some examples of topics which we could discuss:
1. Wealth is more important than health.
2. Money is the root of all evil.
3. Life in 2020 is much better than it was 30 years ago.
4. Pharmaceutical drugs should not be tested on animals.
5. The internet has improved communication between people
6. Every adult should have the right to own a gun for personal protection.
7. It was a mistake to impose total lockdowns during the corona virus pandemic.
8. Home schooling is better than traditional schooling.
At the end of the lesson, I will provide you with feedback on your debating skills and some tips on how you can improve.
