This lesson will improve your reading, vocabulary, listening, speaking, and discussion skills.
Heres how it works!
Choose one of the options below;
- an article of your choice (send me the link before the lesson)
- or an article of my choosing (I'll send you a link based on your preferences)
*Please message your choice when you book your class time. I'll send you the link with enough time to prepare before our lesson.
*Note: if you have a specific interest (for example, politics, health, beauty, or world events), please advise me before the lesson.
What to do:
- Read the article as best as you can (do not worry if you can't understand everything!)
- Try to get an idea of the topic
- Think about your opinions and any questions about the topic
- Write down what you have learned or are not sure about, such as phrases, vocabulary, expressions, or anything else that you would like to discuss during the lesson.
- Speak and express your opinions and ideas freely during the lesson.
During the lesson we will:
- discuss any vocabulary, phrases, expressions and other details that you do not understand
- review the article's main points
- go through questions about the topic
This activity not only helps improve your English skills, but it also enhances discussion and critical thinking skills.
