So, do you need to get more used to understanding and using business idioms and phrases? This lesson will push you to learn often encountered colloquial English when reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs) - used when deciding between which company to use for a product or a service.
It starts with a glossary of meaning to introduce the learners to the idioms and phrases. This glossary can be revisited at any time throughout the other activities as a way to check back on meaning.
There are a variety of eLearning practice exercises, which includes the following:
- Cloze passage style exercise
- Drop down menu for fill in the blanks
- Multi-choice quiz for idiom meanings
- Hangman game for vocabulary
Then, for final comprehension, there is an email exchange reading comprehension. It is an email discussion about three proposals that are being compared. Understanding is tested with true/false interactive questions.
