Amaka is very nice and she explains the history very clearly. Also, she takes care of the student a lot in order to help them to have a better understanding.

The Powerpoint presentation prepared by Amaka was very well understood and connected easily with her verbal narration. Those pictures with her explanations were very vivid. It is important to learn about how slave trades started and their impacts on current social inequality and injustice. Viewing how black people from west Africa were never treated with humanity and dignity, I feel sad and miserable. However, knowing the histrorical perspective is valuable for me to understand black American heritage and how that may influence thier lives and their thoughts and their constant challenges to fight for true equality in modern American society.
