I enjoyed the lesson using one of videos from TED Ed. We went through some words in class and then discussed dreams, the main topic of the video. Before our lesson, I was a little worried if I was able to discuss the video well, but Laura asked me questions about it, which I am glad made the lesson flow smoothly.

Thank you for your wonderful lesson, Laura. I thought 60mins one was a little bit long but after taking it, there was so much useful information and so many fun activities such as quizes, explaining important words meanings, and expressing my thoughts, my experiences that when I realized one hour had already passed. In this lesson you not only just listen to the facts about media representations of women, but also Laura assures you that you can engage in it. Moreover she kindly generously accepts your thoughts. I really liked the methods of teaching and really enjoyed this class. Thank you.
60分があっという間でした。ただ先生の話を聞くだけじゃなくて、私が常に参加できるように工夫されていて、とても楽しかったです。私が質問に対して変な回答をしてもとても優しく常に肯定的に受け止めてくださり、とても素敵な先生だと感じました。メディアでの女性の扱われ方ということで、フェミニズムの題材の中でも、多くの人がとっつきやすいテーマなのではと思います。おすすめします。 -

初めての受講でした。
とてもフレンドリーな先生で話しやすかったです。こちらが話せるようちゃんと質問を振ってくれ、言葉に詰まった時はこちらが言いたい事を上手に誘導したり汲み取ってくれました。
知らない単語の説明も、分かりやすい例えや例文で丁寧に説明してくださいました。カメラも大きめで表情がよく分かりとても良かったです。

Laura is a fantastic teacher, very kind and attentive to students' needs. As this was the first time, she flexibly delivered the lesson while seeing how the lesson goes. I felt very easy to talk to her, as she made sure that I understand everything and encouraged me to use newly learnt language items in the class. Her post-lesson message with detailed feedback is very useful for revision. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve or keep up with their English !!

Laura is a very professional and passionate tutor. Her preparation for my lesson was perfect and I think she is capable of making materials which match the students' level of English. The tutor is very professional. She accepted my lesson request very quickly. Before the lesson, she sent me the learning material in advance which made me feel relaxed because I knew what I would learn at that day. The lesson was well-organized which was divided into frour sections. In the very beginning, we played an ice-breaking game. Then, next part was self-introduction - she asked me some simple questions about me. After that, it was about my past experience / special moments in my life. Lastly, we discussed one of the important issues, my topic was national celebrations, in the world. Having finished a section, she corrected my mistakes in detail. I really appreciate that she puts much effort our lesson. Thanks billions!
