Women's Roles & Representation in the Media
In celebration of Women’s day this month, I am offering an exclusive lesson about women’s representation in the media and the roles they are given on-screen.
We will talk about why women are shown in the ways they are shown, how this impacts our view of women and look at some data from the TV and film world about women's inclusion.
In this lesson, you will learn new vocabulary related to the categories women are often put into when being represented in TV and film. You will get the chance to use these words in conversation and practice giving your opinions on the subject. This will give you the chance to focus on correct grammar usage, pronunciation and fluency.
