She showed some pictures.
She was very beautiful with wearing kimono, Japanese traditional women’s costume.

First we talked about persimmons.
Because I picked persimmons in my parents house garden on last Saturday.
But she was under appreciated.
Because she ate the persimmons that we’re not ripe.
So I teach that she should eat orange persimmons, not yellow persimmons.
Second we talked about shopping.
She liked on line shopping.
Because she didn’t have to go outside to make purchases.

I showed the photo of the big shimenawa at the shrine.
She was surprised.
I asked her that what is difficult about learning Japanese.
She answered kanji.
She said Japanese is unique language.
It’s different from English.

There were a thousand of fox statues at the shrine.
She was surprised to see the photos.

友達と話しているように自然に話せて楽しかったです。こちらに合わせてゆっくり話して頂いたのかもしれませんが、とても聞きとりやすい英語でした。先生の住んでいる地域の話が興味深くて行ってみたくなりました。もっと色々アメリカの話を聞きたいので、またお願いしたいと思います。

えり先生は髪型を変えてますますかわいらしくなりました。笑顔がとても良いです。優しくゆっくり話してくれるので、分かりやすいですよ。私はどうしても食べ物の話になってしまいます。アメリカバージョンのお寿司を食べてみたいですね。

We talked about the destination in Japan.
I introduced 3 places I visited recently in Japan.
First I introduced Tojinbo cliff.
It was beautiful place in Fukui prefecture.
But it was treacherous place.
Second I introduced Atera valley.
It was the place with shallow water.
It is famous for the beautiful blue water.
She said that the water looks inviting.
Third I introduced Kifune Kawadoko.
It was famous for the place that we ate meals on the river.
But the price was very expensive.
She said that it was unique and luxurious.
She was interested in it.
She gave me some sentences and word in our conversation.
It was useful.

ベータテストとしてこのレッスンを受講しました。まず良かった点はレッスンリクエストへのリスポンスが非常に早かった事と対応が非常に丁寧でした。リクエスト承認の際、カフェトーク経由でのメッセージとは別にスカイプにも楽しみにしているという主旨のメッセージを頂き、非常にモチベーションが上がりました。授業の内容はフリートークでしたが、話が途切れる事もなく楽しく会話ができました。またEllie講師は日本語を勉強されているので、日本の文化や外国語を勉強する大変さについての話などで会話が弾みました。レッスンの最後には良かった点を褒めて頂き、モチベーションが上がりました。訂正を積極的にするタイプの講師ではないようなので、訂正をしてほしい場合は事前に伝えるといいかもしれません。

I enjoyed the lesson.
We talked about the difference of culture in Japan and in America.
First we We talked about eating while standing on the plat home at the train station. We have to eat quickly. So we don’t sit on the chair.
Second we talked about eating while walking. It is bad manners. But for the festival it’s common.
Third we talked about celebrating like Christmas. In America Christmas Day is national holiday. But in Japan it’s not.
We talked a lot.
The topic is very interesting.
Next time we’ll talk about the topic more. -
