Hi all, I hope your weekend is off to a good start! Lately I have acquired a new microphone for my upcoming fliming job, and tonight I thought I'd take a crack at it before the actual gig. 

皆さんこんちには。週末をどうお過ごしでしょうか。ご存知のかたも多いかと思いますが今月・来月と撮影のお仕事で日本に帰ってきています。そのお仕事で使用するために購入したマイクがありましてそれで試験的な録音をしてみました。

I recorded a part of Eva Hoffman's "Time" introduction, which I had come to find out from a student of mine who has been taking my translation lesson. 

録音したのは実は翻訳レッスンをさせていただいている生徒さん紹介いただいた本の序章の部分となります。タイトルはTime、著者はEva Hoffmanという方です。まだ序章しか読んでおりませんが中々複雑な表現を使いながらも内容は非常に興味深い作品になっているようです。

All in all, I have yet to really like the sound that comes out of it (you can read technical details in the description of the SoundCloud link above), but at least I have a better idea as to what to expect on the filming day!

Oh one more thing! I have had the honor of recording a voice-over for a medical equipment promotional video. I will certainly let you know once it becomes publicly available!
