Losing weight and keeping it off is possible

2017年8月23日

I used to work in an office as a legal assistant before I went to nutrition school.  Then one day I saw an advertisement on a magazine for the school’s open house.  I didn’t know what to expect but went anyways.  And that changed my career path and my life.

I worked part time in a weight loss center while I was in nutrition school.  I met different kinds of clients, men and women, young and old.  The majority of clients were middle age women.  After they signed up for the program, they were supposed to come 2-3 times a week to get weigh in and to discuss their food journal.  When they were losing weight, we praised them, and if not, we encouraged them.  Some clients were more motivated than others.  Weight loss is a difficult journey and support is important.

Over the years, I met many clients, but I particularly remember one of them.   Let’s call him Mr. R.  He lost 45 kg!  He was the most motivated person I have ever met.  It took him over a year to lose that weight.  But I really admire his determination.  There were times when he got fed up, he said “this takes forever! I can’t do it”.  I showed him the picture we took of him when he first started.  I told him he looked different already, and I asked him if he felt better after losing half the weight.  He said yes, he really wanted to do this….

Not many people need to lose 45 kg, most of my clients want to lose 10-15 kg.  It requires, first of all, the knowledge to do it right, support from others, and the clients’ determination.

If you want to lose weight, whether it is 5, 10, or 15 kg, I can help you.
