Peace and Fish and Chips

2017年6月14日

Fish and Peace and Chips is my silly concoction inspired by this little fellow undersea, swimming ahead of me.

Not Fish and Chips, Fish and Peace or Peace and Fish.  You say very quickly 3x, Peace and Fish and Chips,  Fish and Peace and Chips, Chips and Fish and Peace.  Not easy huh? Tongue twisters! This is a very good way to practice on your pronunciation and helps a learner in speaking with speed.

This must be the most popular one:

She sells seashells by the seashore. The shells she sells are surely seashells.  So if she sells shells on the seashore.  I'm sure she sells seashore shells.

A favorite:

I wish to wish the wish you wish to wish, but if you wish the wish the witch wishes, I won't wish the wish you wish to wish.

Tongue twisters don't often give clear meanings but say these word combination over and over and it can sharpen your enunciation.

Look up for more and keep practicing!
