Setsubun??

Feb 3, 2014

It is traditional end of winter today!

There is the name in the season when I attached it to each which divided one year into 24 to a Japanese calendar (calendar) with the traditional end of winter.

February 4 "is the beginning of spring" of the twenty-four seasons in the old calendar for 2,014 years, and spring will begin on this day on the calendar.

It is the time that, in fact, is cold most in one year in spring because it is a meaning it begins to become warm from this day even if I say that is to continue becoming cold until this day.

The winter last day "is traditional end of winter" on a calendar on February 3 of the day before the beginning of spring.

It is thought that an ogre appears in the turning point of the season from old days, and a misfortune is caused, and an event to leave, and to put fortune is performed by sending this away with a bean on traditional end of winter.

And I eat the vinegared rice rolled in dried laver called the lucky direction scroll towards the direction of a good direction, and there is a custom to hang a sardine and a holly under the eaves of the house.

There are few places that a sardine and the holly hang in the current house, but thinks that the person valuing the country and culture like my father goes.

The custom to eat the bean-scattering ceremony and a lucky direction scroll is now in the general family.

Because I have forgotten to buy me yesterday, I go to buy it today^^;
