The basic sentence structure, for example, is:

Of course, there are many variations of sentence structures.

For example,

The "把" construction is a particularly distinctive sentence structure in Chinese. If you're not familiar with the sentence structure involving "把" yet, I suggest you find a professional teacher to practice with first.

Our focus today will be on when to use "把".

1. When the Subject perform an action on the object, causing the object to change its position or state.

2. The result of the change to the object is significant.

If your sentence meets both of the above conditions, then it's time to use a "把" construction.

Let's look at an example!

Scenario: The wife always reminds her husband to wash some clothes inside out, but the husband always forgets. One day, the wife sees the husband standing in front of the washing machine, and at that moment, the husband notices the wife watching him.

Husband: "I turned the clothes inside out."

Hint: 翻過來 Fān guò lái
