What’s your true purpose for studying English?

Jul 5, 2024

For many, there are a lot of various reasons for studying English, but as for those who’s reading this, here’s a question for you…

What is your real purpose for studying English?

1. Are you studying English for your work?

2. Are you studying English to get into College?

3. Are you studying English so you can pass an English Exam or an English test?

4. Are you studying English for traveling abroad?

5. Are you studying English for a hobby?

Whatever your reason is, if you are a type of person who tends to quit very easily, a person who likes too make excuses for not being able to practice speaking in English, and a person who isn’t willing to push yourself to practice speaking in English in a conversational way on a daily basis, you will never become good at speaking when it comes to having a conversation with someone in English.

You have to come to a realization that unless you open your mouth and speak out loud, you will not get any better at all.

Studying English grammar and vocabulary is a good thing.
Listening to English is a very good thing.
Reading in English is a very good thing.
Listening to an English podcast is a good thing.
Watching a TV show and or Movie is a good thing.

But unless you open your mouth and speak, you will never become very good at all in English when it comes to having a basic conversation with someone in English.

And of the different types of methods for studying English, here’s a truth that is as clear as the sky on a beautiful day… All methods are good! There’s no perfect method for studying English!!

If anyone tells you anything different, don’t believe them, because it’s a lie. All methods are good.

If you are really serious about learning English and or improving your English, feel free to message me at anytime, and when I am free I will get back to you.
