Nothing compares to a message coming from a student saying that attending
my class is a great experience. Of course, I appreciate the compliment. But more than that, it's the thought that the student has learned something from the class, and finds what he has learned useful in daily conversations, and in the practice of their profession. It isn't the compliment about how I teach, but about what the students can do with what they've learned in the class that's truly gratifying.
