“~Tara ii deuska?”and“~Tahoo ga ii desuka?”

Apr 6, 2024

You want to go to Shinjuku Station, but you don't know how to get there. You want to ask a passerby. How should you ask a question in Japanese?

The following question is correct.

However, some students make the following mistakes.

「~ほうがいいですか」is used to compare two options and ask which one is better. It is used in the following situations.

(I want to get to Shinjuku Station quickly. Which bus should I take?)」

There was a big earthquake in Taiwan. I pray for the safety of the students and their families in Taiwan. And I would like to express my deepest sympathies to those who have been severely affected by the earthquake in Taiwan.
