Here is an update blog of our Jan - Feb events --- 

Well -- Jan and feb have been something of a medicial adventure -- I had been experiencing strange symptoms since the beginning of Dec 2022 -- I ended up having to go to  5 different clinics and getting all kinds of testing done --here in Japan before  figuring out that I had a bacterial infection -- interesting point that I learned from this expereince  -- when getting blood work done in Japan -- not all the normal ranges are the same as what is considered normal standard range in Canada  -- this can be very dangerous -- my blood work by Japanese Normal range standards showed that I was fine -- but when comparing to Canada`s standard normal ranges online -- I found I had higher level white blood cell counts  and issues with my kidneys -- which finally lead me to the right clinic to get help -- but even then my symptoms presented differently then the doctor was used to -- thankfully after two rounds of antibiotics -- I am feeling much better.

Karin was not well -- in early Feb with pain and an infection as well -- and had to take medicine for 5 days. In Feb we did a fun double birthday trip with my Mother in Law --who also celebrates her brithday in February. We went to Niigata and stayed at Swan Lake Resort and Beer factory. -- Swan Lake Beer has won the Gold medal for the best beer in the world against 1150 other beer companies world wide including the really big companies.  We really enjoyed the beer, food, onsen and glamping.
