Spring has come in Japan.

We still have cold days, 

but I feel that summer is coming soon on a sunny day.

In Japan,

March is the time to say good-byes

April is the time for new encounters

Unlike other countries, a new life will start in April.

And we love watching cherry blossom brooming.

It's not just cherry blossoms.

Rape blossoms, tulips,

Where I live, you can see spring quartets (four colors) that match flowers and nature.

The cherry blossoms have already fallen, 

but I saw carp streamers!

They were look like swimming in the sky :)
 

We fly streamers shaped like carp for Children's day.

The carp streamer called "Koinobori" in Japanese is a symbol of a family. 

It seems to be a custom that has continued since the Edo period (there is also a theory that it is from the Heian period).

日本には春が来ました。
まだ寒いですが、天気の良い日は夏を感じるぐらい
急に気温が上がることもあります。 

日本では

3月は別れの時、

4月は新しい出会いの時です。

他の国とは異なり、日本では4月に新しい生活が始まります。

そして、私たちは桜の開花を見るのが大好きです。

桜だけではありません。

菜の花、チューリップなど。

私が住んでいるところには、花と自然にマッチする春の四重奏が見られます。

 

気がつけば桜はもう散ってました…残念⤵︎

ですが、鯉のぼりを見ることができました！

それはまるで空を泳いでいるように見えます:)

鯉のぼりは、家族を表し、

男の子のために、鯉のぼりをあげます。

江戸時代から続いている風習のようです（平安時代、という説もあります）。

5月5日のこどもの日まで、男の子のいる家庭で飾られます。

ちなみに鯉のぼりは英語で　carp streamer　です。
