What is DELF/DALF?
DELF/DALF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française / Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) are the only certifications of French language proficiency dispensed by the French Ministry of Education, and are widely recognized around the world.
Examinations are carried out in 150 countries, and certifications (Diplômes) - A1, A2, B1, B2 for DELF and C1, C2 for DALF- are awarded depending on your performance. A C1 certification in DALF will let you be exempt from language proficiency examinations required for entry into French Universities.
The exams are divided into four area, listening, reading, writing and speaking.
