What is DAPF?

The DAPF (Diplôme d’Aptitude Pratique au Français,)is a test of French language proficiency for Japanese natives adminitered by the Furansugo Kyouiku Shinkou Kyokai with the backing of the Ministry of Science and Education.

DAPF is one of the most recognized French language qualifications in Japan and having it offers many advantages - for example having the Level 1 will exempt you form the written part of the Licensed Guide exam.

It is divided into 7 levels, with each test comprising of an initial written and listening exam, followed by writing, translation and speaking for advanced levels.
