I hold a Master's degree and an accredited 120-hour TEFL/ TESOL certificate. Before I became a teacher, I worked in project management for over 10 years. I have worked with many nationalities; therefore, I am patient, empathetic and embrace diversity. I have 3 years teaching experience both offline and online. I chose to teach English because I love meeting new people and I love to help people overcome language barriers. I also appreciate the flexibility that teaching provides.

I teach English as a foreign language or to speakers of other languages and my students are US, South Africa and Canadian French speaking immigrants from Haiti, Cameroon, Benin and Ivory Coast. 

I am best at teaching children and adults at Starter, Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Advanced levels. If preferred, I offer a 16 week long curriculum covered over 16 weeks at each level, ideally a student must attend 3-5 hours a week. On each topic in a week, two learning objectives are covered. 

I always adapt my teaching style to a learner's needs. I like to make my teaching style student-centered, communicative, and interactive with real life application, review and consolidation. Technology is integrated in a positive and supportive environment where students are encouraged to take risks and make mistakes as part of their language learning journey. In my classes, expect to be engaged in a comfortable and fun environment that will help you remember all that you have learnt.
