I've been learning English and Italian for many years now (English since I was 6, and I started learning Italian 2 years ago). I'm not trying to underestimate the institutes that teach outside but when you're attending a class, there's one person who does all the talking and you're the one who listens (They believe it's the best way to learn a language because it's how you learned your native language). Due to all respect, I disagree! When you were a child, you PRACTICED as well. Remember the times your parents corrected your pronunciation and the way you made sentences? Well, you see? That's what you're missing. Practice makes perfect and also helps you to remember the things you learn.

When you take my classes, I will talk for maybe 10-15 minutes and I'll leave the rest to you. You will practice in my classes and YOU WILL therefore learn. In the end, I'll pretend I'm your student and you're the teacher, and you'll teach me instead!

Just imagine how many mistakes you will make in the process (Why's this such a good thing?). Because when you make a mistake, I'll correct you and you will not make the same mistake again, and that's HOW you'll master a language. That's how I did it. It will work for the person next door as effectively as it worked for me
