Mia Tutor Profile

This tutor is currently on leave.
Hi everyone!

My name is Mia. I studied English in Japan and then, came to the US for studying abroad. I graduated from Humboldt State University which is located in Northern California. When I was a student, I was majoring in Tourism and minoring in Communication.

I've been taking advantage of opportunities to grow since I came to this country. I've done the summer internship in TX, on-campus job, full-time job in PA after graduation.

I can share my ways to be independent, improve English skills, get a job/internship, tips to have a life in the US, and so on.
Of course I can teach Japanese as well.

My personality
I'm an energetic and outgoing person who loves traveling and learning about culture. I like meeting with new people and having a casual conversation too.

Here are some pictures from my past trips.

My first out-of-Japan trip! This was in Australia and I got really close to one of kangaroos.

Taken in Cambodia. Angkor Wat is huge!

This is Kinkakuji-temple in Kyoto, Japan. I visited Kansai area since I had never been to back then.

Yosemite National Park, CA
This was taken in Mirror Lake. Weather was so nice and I got this beautiful picture.

Capilano Suspension Bridge, Canada
It was raining and the bridge was slippery but good memory.

I'm looking forward to talking to you soon!
