Hi!!! My name is Mindy and I am from beautiful sunny California.
I have two sisters, (older and younger) and a nine year old niece along with my parents. I love them all to pieces! I have many years of teaching English, since my Mother would host foreign Japanese exchange students in our home growing up, in which I would help the students learn English while we did varies fun activities, so it did not really feel like learning :) I also have and have had several roommates of Asian decent, and we enjoy conversating in English whenever we are together.
My teaching style is very friendly, calm, laid back yet I know when to give appropriate constructive criticism. My lessons are also suitable for men, women and children of all ages.
I am constantly learning to enjoy new Asian foods. A few of my favorites are pork butt, hot pot. chicken, mung bean dessert, Udon noodles and more. So if you like to eat any of those foods or similar, we will get along great! My older sister (half sister) and niece are also half Japanese, so I am very familar and think the Japanese culture is absolutely beautiful.
My interests include reading good books, going to my amazing church family, spending time with family and friends, listening to Christian Praise and Worship music, dancing, eating, gardening, sightseeing and more.
If you enjoy doing any of the above, I think we will get along great! :)
