こんにちは皆さん!Hello everyone!
My name is Hazel and I'm a Spanish ELE teacher, certified by the University of Nebrija, in Spain. I live in Chile and have been teaching English and Japanese to Chileans for at least five years. Currently I have been teaching Spanish to students from Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand for one year.
I'm a native Spanish speaker and I also studied English and Japanese at university. My classes are mainly in Spanish, but I can communicate well in English to explain anything you don't understand. I am not fluent in Japanese yet, but I can have a simple conversation; if you have doubts you can also ask me in Japanese, as I will probably understand you.
I also give conversation classes in English. Soon I will be living in New Zealand and I can tell you curiosities about this country while we practice.
I would like very much to be your teacher and to be able to tell you about my culture while you learn Spanish. I think that knowing the culture of different countries is very important to learn a language well. I would love for you to talk to me about Japanese culture, as I am very passionate about this topic.
In the trial class we can talk about your goals and interests in learning Spanish.
See you soon!
This is a picture of me at university. My classmates and I held a matsuri to celebrate every year. In this picture we are with the Japanese ambassador to Chile, Yoshinobu Hiraishi, and his wife Hiromi.
