Hello!  My name is Chantell.  I am a teacher, an artist and a musician, from South Africa.

I have a Bachelors degree in Jewelry manufacture, a TEFL certificate for English teaching and 5 years online teaching experience. I have taught group and one- on- one lessons to both children and adults.  

When I was younger, I spent some years in Israel.  Learning to speak Hebrew was a challenge, but it was fun, because I was there, surrounded by the language, so I learnt what I needed when I needed to know it.  Not everybody can travel in order to learn!  On this platform, we can learn from each other, from the comfort of home!

My teaching style is enthusiastic, rigorous, friendly and warm.  In my lessons,  I tend to focus on correct grammar and pronunciation, because this is important if one is to master the language.  Of course, we also work on comprehension of the lesson material and the ability to ask and answer questions correctly and confidently.   English words have so many forms and you will learn to use these more freely, as this makes speaking and writing more expressive and colorful, showing a command of the language.
