I have a Bachelor of Art, TEFL Certificate, 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate & numerous writing certificates. I have been teaching English for 6 years in person and on-line. I lived in Bangkok, Thailand in 2014. This is where I really fell in love with teaching.

My teaching style is calm and relaxed. I believe that we learn best when we feel comfortable and safe, so creating a relaxed and aware state in the classroom is of utmost importance. Building confidence is easy if you are motivated, well stimulated, and relaxed.
I love sharing knowledge, inspiration, and memories. These are the things that make us feel human and connected. I love teaching meditation and holistic healing practices. Learning how to heal our body, mind & emotions to be more in tune with nature. In 2018 I completed a 7-day Vipassana meditation in Thailand and it changed my life. I have studied sound healing in the Himalayas and have since then given workshops on sound healing meditation to other teachers in Bangkok and Cape Town.

I am excited to combine meditation with studying and English. I think it will be a fun way to learn two things at once. When we are in a relaxed but aware state we are better able to learn, process, and store things in our minds. I am here to help guide you to this stage.
