Hello everyone! Nice to meet you. I am from sunny South Africa and I live in a beautiful city called Cape Town where we are surrounded by mountains and the sea.
I currently teach English online to Vietnamese students. I absolutely love working with foreign students and helping them to improve their English. I have a TEFL certificate and a clear, neutral accent.
I am a registered addictions counselor with four years experience in working with high school students who have problems with drugs or alcohol. These students often have difficulties in their home lives and they live in dangerous circumstances. I have really enjoyed working with them and helping them to make sense of their lives.
I focus on positive psychology, creative therapy (using drawing as a form of therapy), and EMDR (a form of therapy that helps one to deal with past trauma) and equine therapy (using horses to help people to heal).

I have a BA degree (Cum Laude) majoring in Psychology and Criminology, and I have a BA Honors degree in Social Work.

Whether, you want to work through an addiction, talk about social problems, deal with hurt from your past and just discuss current problems, I am the person you can talk to. 
I love reading and I have a wide variety of topics that we can talk about in English. I have a neutral accent which means that I will teach you to pronounce English words in the proper way.
I have a gentle but fun approach towards teaching.
