This introductory course encourages adults to develop their English vocabulary, and pronunciation skills. Students have the opportunity to ask questions and learn at their own pace. Students will discuss news articles, novels, online content and non-fiction texts from their cultural perspective.

Students will learn the differences between American and British pronunciation of words. I will provide a list of words to demonstrate both long and short sounds. Games, cards, books, news articles and other resources will be used to discuss course material and personal interests.

The lessons are designed for general as well as professional purposes. Content will reflect individual needs.
