Beginner class. We will study the Japanese characters, hiragana and katakana. After that, we will learn simple greetings and self-introductions. Finally, the teacher will present your name expressed in kanji (for students from non-kanji backgrounds only).

Assignment 1: We will study hiragana, which is a Japanese script.
Assignment 2: We will study katakana, which is also a Japanese script.
Assignment 3: We will learn simple greetings and self-introductions.
This will not all be done in one lesson; instead, it will be completed over multiple lessons.Some people may finish in two sessions, while others may take longer. Let's go at your preferred pace for the lessons.
We will study the Japanese characters, hiragana and katakana.
After that, we will learn simple greetings and self-introductions.
This lesson is a Japanese language introductory class. Please prepare writing materials when you participate in the lesson. Let's actually try writing the characters ourselves.You will be able to write your name in Japanese.
Once you can write the characters, we will practice simple greetings and self-introductions.
Finally, the teacher will present your name expressed in kanji (for students from non-kanji backgrounds only). I will also explain the meanings of the kanji used for your name.
