I wrote a slightly spooky (and maybe funny?) original story.
・Using plain verb forms in the narrative sections
・Using casual spoken Japanese in the dialogue
＊Recording the audio or video of the lesson is not allowed. Please understand this in advance.
＊Note: Please do not share or post the short story used in the lessons on social media or the Internet!
➁I will ask some questions about the story. Please answer them. Don’t worry about mistakes too much. Just enjoy the quiz.
【Lesson Flow】
① I will read an original short story aloud while sharing the screen with the story on PowerPoint.
Listen as you read along or shadow, and try to understand as much of the story as possible.
If you prefer to focus only on listening without reading, that is also fine.
➁I will ask some questions about the story. Please answer them. Don’t worry about mistakes too much. Just enjoy the quiz.
③I will explain the main vocabulary and grammar used in the story in Japanese.
We will review your answers from ➁ while learning these points.
*I will add English explanations if needed.
*If there is some time remaining, we will have a conversation about your thoughts on the story.
