There are many types of English and many many uses of English!

I have taught for 20 years and I have helped many students at many levels.

I enjoy helping each student achieve the goals that you have for learning English.

So let us talk and let me hear what you wantand if I can help you I’ll design special lessons with special materials and exercises to help you achieve your goals!

I have had many students who want to learn English to travel for fun, or study, or work, in another country! It is always exciting….

…..helping students of any age get to go where they want to go! 

Level does not matter!

I can speak Japanese so if you wantI can help you by comparing Japanese to English.

  This helps to save time, and increase your understanding without using long (and sometimes boring) text books…

Here are some examples of real students I have helped;

·      I have helped a realtorat a big company develop his English so that he could become the manager of a big Japanese private company office, designed to help new foreign companies to start their first office in Japan!

·      I had some students who…..loved crime dramas!  We had great fun introducing them to different crime drama tv programs and movies(not all shows are translated into Japanese) so THEY COULD WATCH NEW SHOWS IN ENGLISH!!

·      I had a student who found English very very hard, and he really needed help, because he had been offered a great internship opportunity to work at a big foreign company in Japan.  We worked on developing his confidence and…he got the job!

·      I helped a zoo keeper(really!!) who had been offered a promotion to work at one of Japan’s most famous zoos but he needed English training….He is now at that big and wonderful Zoo!

·      I worked in a university with special needs students who wanted to improve their TOEIC scoresin order to pass the year…We enjoyed the classes(that is important) and they relaxed and improved!

·      I helped a high school studentwho wanted to study medicine at a famous Japanese university, we had a fun intensive 6 month course, working on…. real medical papers, reading, and using that material so he could improve his ‘medical English’….He is now a doctor!

·      At higher levels I provide proofreading for academic papers and presentations.

·      I have worked with engineers, doctors, professors, CEOs, and university PHD students.  They wanted to improve their public presentation abilities for international conferences….I helped with developing their speaking style, pronunciation, timing, and confidence
